I can't believe how the time flies. I hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving. We hosted the festivities at our home-which isn't big, yet we managed to cram in 17 people;14 being full-grown adults. It flowed surprisingly well despite the lack of additional square feet. We also celebrated my son's birthday that night and took family pictures that weekend. And in the middle of all this I decided to paint my bedroom. Nothing like self-induced stress to propel you to check things off of the never ending to-do list.
Anyway, I have actually done a lot of projects recently, but haven't had the time to post them. So to start off here are birthday invites I did for an adorable little guys big day. His mom wanted a football theme and they are BIG Cowboy fans. I didn't have stamps for the sentiment that seemed the right font, so I actually printed these out in Word. I also didn't have a football stamp, so I created the ball from the Stampin' Up! Wide Oval punch and Uni-Ball Signo gel pen. Then I simply layered it on Night of Navy and Brushed Silver cardstock. The base is Whisper White cardstock with Glorious Green used as the "turf." I used some number stamps I found at Michael's with white craft ink to mark the yard lines. I was really happy with how they turned out.
For the inside we utilized football lingo instead of the usual words.
