20 Days of Gift Giving-Day 1

Recently I was asked to create several quick and easy (and more importantly-INEXPENSIVE) gift ideas. Who couldn't use those? Most of these ideas were given to me in the source of a quote or catchy phrase and it was my job to bring them to fruition. So for the next few weeks I will be revealing these ideas that you can easily reproduce when you need a fast little goody for someone. So without further adieu...here is Day 1.

Who wouldn't love to start the summer off by receiving this bundle of fun.
I simply took a small sand bucket and filled it with the necessities for a good day at the pool.I started with the most important item-a bottle of sunscreen then I rolled and added a colorful hand towel that would be perfect for dabbing your face while basking in the summer sun.

While laying out you might get a bit overheated, for that reason a handy squirt bottle is attached to the pail with Linen Thread.

And, of course, we can't forget a tube of chapstick.

The final touch to tie it all together: a catchy phrase and some fun clips and brads to accessorize. I simply printed out the sentiment on some Whisper White card stock, trimmed it with my paper cutter and used my SNAIL adhesive to adhere it to Summer Sun card stock which was then trimmed down to size. My Crop-A-Dile made it a breeze to punch and place the water splash brad. A water bottle and a magazine could be added too. Add a shovel to make it a beach bucket ensemble. The possibilities are endless-you just might need a bigger bucket :).
