3 Little Pumpkins

I have never been great at "bargain shopping" and am rarely able to recognize a "smokin' deal." But  when I stumbled upon these jars recently at a home decor store for .97c each, I had to get them.

The NEW Spooky Expressions Decor Elements immediately came to mind. Aren't they too cool? They were so easy to apply and instantly made these plain jars come to life.

  • After applying the decor elements I took floral foam and trimmed it to fit into each jar.
  • I then took cardboard and SU's new Cast-A-Spell Designer Series Paper and ran it through my Big Shot using the Top Note Bigz die. (HINT: I used the cardboard that came in my designer series paper pack.) NEVER throw anything out-you never know when you'll need it.
  • I used Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive to adhere the paper to the cardboard. I made 6 total because I needed to have a back as well-you'll see why below.
  • On three of the Top Notes I placed Sticky Cuts Letters. These are awesome! Both sides have removable adhesive. One side was adhered to the cut out die and the other was covered in black Chunky Essential Glitter. Instant glam, and so simple to do.
  • Sticky Strip was used to adhere the dies together as well as attach them to a black acrylic painted popsicle stick.
  • After placing them into the foam, shredded black paper concealed the green floral foam completing the project. You could even add more detail by stamping Halloween images and placing them on the letters. Can't you just picture a spider hanging from an "o"? The possibilities are endless!
