Creative Gift Ideas-Day 2

Welcome to Day No. 2 of my gift countdown. I hope you are enjoying a beautiful Labor Day holiday. Speaking of labor-I love summer but have to admit the tedious everyday chores start to wear on me. Number 1 on my list: laundry. It's just a vicious yet obviously necessary cycle. This simple little gift makes getting through this task a bit sweeter.
  • I used a pail I had purchased from a craft store and filled it with light lemonade packs and some yummy Madelines. (These are my kids' favorite cookie, great bribe material).
  • I used cut up tissue paper to fill in the gaps, wrapped it in celophane, and tied a cute ribbon around it.
Here is a close up of the contents. So simple and yet who wouldn't enjoy a break from laundry, or any task for that matter, for this treat. Who really needs an excuse to enjoy this gift?

The sentiment (below) is perfect! I simply printed it out on Whisper White card stock and stamped the flip flop image in Real Red. For the Sun, I stamped Dusty Durango on Crushed Curry card stock and punched it out with my 1" Circle Punch. A Stampin' Dimensional adhered to the back really makes it POP off the paper.

Pretty Paper: Whisper White {100730}, Crushed Curry {115319}
Timeless Tools: 1" Circle Punch {109046}, Paper Cutter {104152}
Awesome Accessories: Real Red Ink {103133}, Dusty Durango Ink {115654}, Stampin' Dimensionals {104430}
