Thinking Outside the Box

You never know where you might find inspiration or what that inspiration will come in the form of. Today's post is all about "Thinking Outside the Box." This little goodie was created from a Starbucks Jar. The inside holds holiday M&M's. The top was made by punching out a scallop circle from last years Christmas designer series paper and adhering it with a few mini glue dots.

For the base of the jar I used the same Designer series paper and adhered it with some Sticky Strip (HINT: Sticky Strip is an incredibly strong adhesive. You want to use it when you want a
strong hold like on this jar.) A little 1" Double-Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon in Real Red was tied in a bow around the jar. The sentiment was stamped in Real Red and Old Olive ink and
punched out with the 1 1/4" circle punch. This was "popped" up with Stampin' Dimensionals onto Old Olive card stock punched with the Scallop Circle punch. After punching a hole with my Crop-A-Dile, a piece of silver elastic cord helped to adhere the tag to the bow.
