Vellum Embossing

Here is another altered card from this post. I forget how soft vellum makes an image. I was really happy with how this card turned out and loved the embossing on the vellum.

I started with a Bashful Blue card stock base. Next I added a layer of Whisper White card stock that I had stamped the circular image from the Artistic Etchings set in Crumb Cake ink. The top layer of White Vellum card stock was embossed with Chocolate Chip craft ink and clear embossing powder. Antique brass brads were added to the corners. On the side I added piece of white organdy ribbon and tied a smaller piece of blue gingham ribbon to it.

Paper: Bashful Blue {105120}, Whisper White {100730}, White Vellum Card Stock {101856}
Ink: Crumb Cake {121030}, Chocolate Chip Craft {102847}
Stamps: Artistic Etchings Clear Mount {120573}, Wood Mount {118517}
Tools: Clear Emboss Powder {109130}, Heat Tool {100005}, SNAIL Adhesive {104332}, 1/16" Handheld Punch {101227}
Embellishments: Metallic Brads (Antique Brass) {119741}, Ribbon {SU retired}

OOOOH I love this! I started a card today with a background I stamped and really like but it's over powering. I'm off to dig out the vellum as I'm sure it'll save the day.
Blessings Bernie
