Bugs & Kisses

One of the struggles I often have is coming up with cards for kids. Today I want to share a REALLY simple and quick card that you can put together. You could even customize it to be more girl or boy specific with your color choices.

For this card I started with a 5x5 Basic Black piece of card stock. I then took a 4-3/4" x 9-1/2" piece of Whisper White and folded it in half to measure 4-3/4". This was adhered to the Basic Black card stock piece. I then used our retired Key Tag punch to punch through the top of the Whisper White layer. (HINT: I would use one of our oval punches to do this as they're available.) Now you can stamp the sentiment from the Bugs & Kisses set on the inside off the card. (TIP: I use a pencil to trace the shape so that I know exactly where to stamp the sentiment.)
Now for the fun part, decorate the front of the card with the images of your choice and color. I added a piece of black gingham ribbon for an added embellishment to finish off the card.

Paper: Basic Black card stock {121045}, Whisper White card stock {100730}
Stamps: Bugs & Kisses {116580}
Ink: Real Red {103133}, Basic Black {101179}, Pumpkin Pie {105216}, Daffodil Delight {119667}, Garden Green {102272}
Tools: Key Tag Punch {retired}
Embellishments: Black checkered gingham ribbon

So cute! Thank you for sharing! I am one of your followers from Stampin' Connection. (I'm the one that started the Follow Me thread) I have a small favor to ask, please. I had to switch over my website (it used to be BellevueStampingClub) and lost all of my followers from SC. Would you be so kind as to go to my new site listed below and RE-follow me, please? You may have to copy and paste the link. Thanks so much! I really appreciate it!
