HSS Inspiration Challenge #141

I am loving all the pumpkin goodies that are all around, that's my hint that fall is here. Unfortunately if you live here in California, you know that we really don't have visible seasons, sigh. So this weeks challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments was my chance to experience that vicariously through my project.

Here is the finished card. Don't you just love that shimmer. I'll show you how I achieved this easy yet gorgeous look.

I took the Champagne Mist Shimmer paint and a sponge dauber. I pour a little into the lid and dip the sponge dauber directly into it.

Then I simply apply it directly to the stamp, and then stamp the image onto the paper. That's it!

Here's a close-up of the shimmer. So pretty. I LOVE this image from the Day of Gratitude set.

The leaves were punched from a variety of colors and decorated with embossing folders or stamped images. I really liked the Brushed Gold Card Stock. I forget to use that, so it was fun to play with it on this card.

Make sure you stop by HSS to check out the other amazing creations from the rest of the Design Team and we'd love for you to join us this week. All the details are over at HSS. Thanks for stopping by!
