HSS Technique Challenge #145

Good Afternoon Stampers,
I apologize for this post coming up so late. My little guy had the stomach flu last night. Luckily, I had already taken my photos and uploaded them, but was planning on typing the blog up last night until he came down with that bug. Seeing your kids sick, especially with stomach flu, is the worst. He's on the mend today just with an obvious lack of appetite.
But onto a more enjoyable topic...This week's challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments was Fancy Folds.

I made this card with instructions from the super talented Dawn Griffith. She has some great YouTube tutorials as well. She got this idea from a fellow stamper too:) I used the Day of Gratitude stamp set. I love that set! And isn't the NEW Champagne Glimmer paper gorgeous??!! For the image I used the new technique that I shared in this post to color it.

Here's a close-up of the sentiment and the Brushed Bronze Designer button. I really am using those like crazy lately.

And of course a close-up of the stamped image and that "blingy," (I know that isn't a very intellectual word), Champagne Glimmer paper...beautiful.

For all my stateside readers, I hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving with your families. I am hosting here for about 15 relatives, so I am off to clean and make some fun place settings, which I will make sure to post. If you have a moment to stop by HSS and view the other designers projects, please do:) you won't be sorry!

Wow, you've had a super busy week, and still created such a fabulous, festive card. I hope your son is all better now & that your Thanksgiving was wonderful. Love that fold for the card, and the glimmer paper really jazzes it up!
