HSS Theme Challenge #144

Good Morning Stampers and crafters alike! Today there is a brand new challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.

Last week at my demonstrator meeting we made these gorgeous Christmas ornaments. I was amazed at how easy and quick to put together they really were. (This is not the best picture, there is a yellow tint to it, unfortunately.)
I started by punching the snowflake and star with my Big Shot and our silver Glimmer paper. Then I ran a strip of First Edition DSP through the Designer Rosette Die to create the center. These were adhered together with hot glue. The sentiment was stamped from the More Merry Messages set in Basic Black ink. Two Basic Jewels were added to finish it off.

Here's a much better picture and closer up.

Make sure to go checkout the other designers; projects this week. We'd love for you to come join our challenge this week at HSS :)

Okay, you win!!! That is a totally gorgeous project! I love the vintage feel that the rosette paper gives to the otherwise shimmery little gem. I want one :) great work! Erika
